Creazioni Luciano srl was founded by Lamberto Tastaldi in 1955.
Today, the founder's sons, brothers Luciano and Roberto, continue to carry on the tradition.
His older brother Luciano handles management, while his younger brother Roberto is in charge of design.
The Tastaldi brothers are Japanophiles and have visited Japan several times, taking part in demonstrations and reconstruction support activities following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Since each ceramic tile is individually painted by an artisan based on a hand-carved original, even if the design is the same, the colors and expressions will be subtly different, and no two pieces are exactly alike.
