Small holes (pinholes) and black spots (iron contained in the soil) that occur during the manufacturing process may be visible. ◇A pinhole is a tiny hole like a needle poke on the surface of the glaze, allowing the base to be seen. Pinholes are common in ceramic vessels. Therefore, pinholes are not a defect, but should be enjoyed as a unique feature. There may be some slight rattling. We remove any items that are particularly badly damaged during inspection, and only ship products that we determine to be in good condition.
