◇Pinholes are tiny holes like those made by a needle on the surface of the glaze, allowing the base to be seen. Pinholes are often seen on ceramic vessels.
■Therefore, pinholes are not considered defective products, but should be enjoyed as a unique feature.
■It is the lack of perfection that proves something is handmade.
