■Since this is a handmade product, there may be ink stains or other marks on the back.
■ A characteristic of this pottery is that fine cracks (crazing) appear on the surface due to temperature differences during firing. These are by no means defective products, but it is the presence of crazing that reveals the characteristics of the technique used.
